A special goods train carrying 1,341 tonnes of onions arrived in Delhi from Nashik to stabilize prices in the national capital region. The onions were transported directly from farms to the nearest railway network, reducing both transport time and costs. Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief PRO of Northern Railway, confirmed the delivery, which aims to curb price hikes.
