Maoist Bomb Expert From 2000 Attack To Surrender Today

A total of 170 Maoists, including senior cadres, are scheduled to formally surrender before CM Vishu Deo Sai today. Among them is Takkalappalli Vasudeva Rao, aka Rupesh, the notorious bombmaker linked to the 2000 attack on then-AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and 1999 political and police killings. Ranita, DKZC Maad division leader, will also surrender.
