The North Division Police, Bengaluru, conducted a special drive against public smoking and COTPA 2003 violations from March 1 to now across 13 police station limits. Officers registered 40 cases and fined 295 people, inspecting prohibited public areas and shops with tobacco advertisements to enforce regulations and curb illegal smoking activities.
