Sitharaman To Be BJP’s Central Observers For Maharashtra MLAs Meeting

The BJP has appointed FM Nirmala Sitharaman and ex-Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani as central observers for Maharashtra’s legislature party meeting, where MLAs will elect their leader, likely the next CM. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule confirmed the new govt’s oath-taking ceremony on December 5. Former CM Devendra Fadnavis is considered the frontrunner for the CM position.
