A 35‑year‑old software engineer in Bengaluru died by suicide after an argument with her mother‑in‑law over cooking at home, police said. Her family has accused her in‑laws of dowry harassment. The married woman, with a four‑year‑old son, was found hanging. Her husband has been arrested and the mother‑in‑law is being sought by police.
