Over the past two years, 33 on-duty police officers in Delhi have died due to murders or reckless driving. In 2023, 14 officers, including constables and inspectors, lost their lives. In 2022, 19 personnel, ranging from head constables to multitasking staff, died. Including 18 more casualties from 2022, the total toll reaches 51, according to reports.
