Superstar Rajinikanth’s new film, “Thalaivar173,” produced by Kamal Haasan, will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy after Sundar C exited. Malayalam actor Basil Joseph and Priyanka Mohan join the cast, with Basil playing Rajinikanth’s son. The shoot begins in April post-“Jailer 2,” with Anirudh Ravichander composing music. The film is set for Pongal 2027 release.
