Navi Mumbai police busted a bogus call center in Mahape, arresting two suspects for allegedly defrauding people of over Rs 1 crore. The center posed as a share market research firm, using WhatsApp and calls to promise high returns. Investigations revealed money was routed through 19 bank accounts, linking multiple cyber fraud complaints nationwide.
