Uttar Pradesh Police has launched the “Digital Warriors” initiative, involving social media influencers and college students to combat cybercrime and fake news. These digital warriors will raise awareness, train citizens, and publicize police efforts. This initiative, expanded after a successful pilot during the Maha Kumbh Mela, includes workshops in schools and universities to promote digital literacy.
