Jeju Air Black Boxes Halted 4 Minutes Prior To Crash

Jeju Air flight 2216’s black boxes stopped recording 4 minutes before its crash, killing 179 people, South Korea’s transport ministry revealed. The Boeing 737-800 belly-landed and exploded at Muan airport on December 29. Investigators are probing causes like a bird strike, faulty landing gear, and a runway barrier, which worsened the crash.
