Gantela Sumana, former YSRCP MLA of Payakaraopeta in Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh, has passed away. She had been unwell and was admitted to Care Hospital in Visakhapatnam, where she breathed her last. Sumana was first elected as MLA from Payakaraopeta in 1983 and later contested the same constituency in 1989, 1994, and 1999 as a Congress candidate.
