West Bengal police launched a major crackdown in the statewide tab money case. They registered around 93 cases and arrested 11 people so far. Over 16 lakh students were to get the money, but among them 1,911 were allegedly scammed. Three people were arrested in East Midnapore and after that it was known that there is an interstate nexus that is involved in the cyber scam.
