India Addresses Trade Barriers With EU

India raised concerns about trade barriers faced by domestic industries in EU during a virtual meeting between Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and European Commissioner Maros Sefcovic. Goyal said the impact of non-tariff barriers and stressed the need to resolve long-standing issues to build confidence. Both parties agreed to work toward a balanced, mutually beneficial free trade deal.
