Andhra Pradesh High Court upheld a lesbian couple’s right to live together. It also affirmed that their freedom to choose their partners and make independent decisions. The bench comprising Justices R Raghunandan Rao and K Maheswara Rao was hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by a woman, who alleged that her partner, another woman, was unlawfully detained by her father.
