Survey In Kanpur Identify 1670 Waqf Properties, 500 Built On Govt Land

Three-month-long survey of Waqf properties in UP’s Kanpur is now over. A total of 1,670 Waqf properties were identified in the survey, out of which over 500 are built on government land. The survey identified 914 properties under Sunni Waqf Board and 34 under Shia Waqf Board in Sadar tehsil alone. Additionally, 189 Waqf properties were recorded in Ghatampur, 388 in Bilhaur, and 144 in Narwal.
