US Removes Sanctions On Milorad Dodik, Citing Stability

The US Treasury lifted sanctions on Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik, his family, and allies, without explaining the move. Dodik, under sanctions since 2017 for defying the Dayton peace accord, was banned from politics in August. Bosnian Serb lawmakers recently appointed an interim president ahead of early elections set for November 23.
