AIADMK Criticizes Centre For Naming Laws In Hindi

Tamil Nadu’s main opposition party, the AIADMK, criticized the central govt for naming laws in Hindi and Sanskrit, calling it an indirect imposition of Hindi. In a resolution passed during its meeting in Chennai, the party urged the laws to be named in English, citing Tamil Nadu’s adherence to the two-language policy of Tamil and English. It also demanded financial fairness for the state.
