Telangana Records Increase In Crimes Against Women

As per the National Crime Records Bureau 2023 Report, Telangana has recorded an increase in crimes against women. The state registered 23,679 cases in 2023 compared to 22,065 in 2022. Telangana stood at 88.1% in the charging sheet, which is more than the national average of 77.6%. Uttar Pradesh is in the top list among the states with 66,381 reported cases.
