Siberian Tiger Travels 200 Km To Reunite With Mate

Boris and Svetlaya, two Amur tigers, reunited in the Russian wilderness after Boris traveled 200 km over three years. Rescued as orphans in 2012, they were released into the wild in 2014 as part of a conservation program. Boris’ journey and their eventual reunion, leading to cubs, offer new hope for Siberian tiger repopulation and demonstrate the success of careful rewilding efforts.
