Bihar Govt Extends Education Loan Repayment To 7 Years

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced interest-free education loans under the Student Credit Card Scheme, ahead of assembly elections. The repayment period for loans up to ₹2 lakh has been extended to seven years, and for amounts above ₹2 lakh, up to 10 years. Launched in 2016, the scheme helps students pursue higher education after class 12.
