China Escalates Military Activity Near Taiwan

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense reported increased Chinese military activity, with 17 PLA aircraft and seven PLAN vessels detected near Taiwan by 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Ten aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait’s median line, entering Taiwan’s northern and southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The MND stated they monitored and responded to the situation accordingly.
