The Delhi High Court granted Kuldeep Singh Sengar, convicted in the 2017 Unnao rape case, a two-week interim bail on medical grounds. He will be admitted to AIIMS-Delhi for evaluation. Sengar is serving life for the rape and a 10-year sentence for the custodial death of the victim’s father. His appeal against the life sentence is pending. The court will hear his case again on December 20.
