US Judge Rejects SEC’s Request To Sanction Elon Musk

A US judge rejected the SEC’s request to sanction Elon Musk for skipping a meeting with regulators to watch a rocket launch. Musk was ordered to testify in September regarding his $44 billion takeover of X (formerly Twitter). US District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley ruled the request moot, as Musk reimbursed the SEC for the airfare of the lawyers he missed the meeting with.
