3 Killed, 9 Hospitalized In Maharashtra Fertilizer Plant Gas Leak

A gas leak following a reactor blast at a fertiliser plant in Maharashtra’s Sangli district killed three people, including two women, and hospitalized nine others. Incident occurred at Myanmar Chemical Company in Shalgaon MIDC, Kadegaon tehsil. Police suspect ammonia gas leakage, affecting 12 workers. Two women, Suchita Uthale and Neelam Rethrekar, were identified among the deceased.
