PM Modi To Receive Nigeria’s Prestigious ‘GCON’ Award

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive Nigeria’s prestigious Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) award, becoming the second foreign dignitary to be honored after Queen Elizabeth in 1969. PM Modi, on a three-nation tour, is visiting Nigeria to strengthen strategic ties. He was warmly welcomed in Abuja and presented with the ‘Key to the City’ by local officials.
