Three people lost their lives after consuming illicit liquor in a village near Daurala police station in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The victims fell seriously ill soon after drinking and were taken to a nearby private hospital. Meerut SSP Avinash Pandey has directing police to trace the source of spurious alcohol and take strict action against those responsible.
