Central Forces To Form First 1,000-Strong All-Women Battalion

The Home Ministry has approved establishing the first all-women battalion in the Central Industrial Security Force, comprising over 1,000 personnel. This elite “reserve battalion” will be led by a senior commandant and trained for VIP security, airport protection, and metro security. Recruitment and training preparations are underway, marking a significant step toward gender inclusivity in the CISF.
