Sukhbir Badal Suffers Fracture During Meeting With Akal Takht Jathedar

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Badal suffered a minor hairline fracture on his right foot while meeting the Jathedar of Akal Takht in Amritsar to seek the pronouncement of religious punishment. On August 30, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh had declared Badal ‘tankhaiya’ for religious misconduct but has yet to announce the punishment.
