The Indian domestic stock market ended on a strong note, with both indices closing at record highs. The Sensex rose 368.52 points, or 0.44%, to 84,997.13, while the Nifty gained 118 points, or 0.45%, to settle at 26,053.03. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee traded at 88.18 against the US dollar at the time of market closing.
