Musk Donates $474 Million In 2024, Mostly To His Own Entities

Elon Musk’s foundation donated a record $474 million in 2024, mostly to entities he controls. About $370 million went to his STEM-focused school foundation, and $35 million to a Fidelity Charitable donor-advised fund. With assets rising to $14.7 billion, the foundation also supported various nonprofits, including a $2.1 million gift to the Scroll Prize.
