IMD Predicts Low-Pressure Formation Over Bay Of Bengal, Heavy Rains Likely In AP

The India Meteorological Dept (IMD) has forecasted the formation of a low-pressure area over the southwest Bay of Bengal on Monday. It is expected to move westwards towards the coasts of Tamil Nadu or Sri Lanka soon. Also, a trough extending from the southwest Bay of Bengal to the east-central Bay of Bengal could bring rainfall to Rayalaseema and the South Coast for the next 3 days.
