The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall and fog in Prayagraj today amid the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela. The IMD also predicts that there will be a drop in temperature of 2-3°C for the next few days. IMD scientist Soma Sen Roy reported that the weather disturbance is moving from west to east, due to which they issued an orange alert.
