Schools To Remain Closed In Parts Of Tamil Nadu

Cyclone Fengal weakened into a deep depression after making landfall along the Puducherry-Tamil Nadu coast on Nov 30. Heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. Schools, colleges, and 3 trains were canceled today. Chennai airport resumed operations at 1 am after suspension, though delays and cancellations occurred. Fengal is expected to weaken further in the next 12 hours.
