Sakhi Depot: India’s First All-Women Bus Depot Inaugurated In Delhi

India’s first women-only bus depot was inaugurated in Delhi on Sunday by Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot at Sarojini Nagar. Named ‘Sakhi Depot,’ this facility will exclusively employ women as managers, drivers, and conductors. Minister Gahlot stated that the initiative aims to empower women and ensure greater representation in transport sector, marking a big step toward gender equality.
