PTI Chennai Office Receives Bomb Threat Today

Chennai’s PTI office received an emailed bomb threat that police later confirmed was a hoax. In the past month, about 20–30 such false threats were reported, all traced to fake email IDs. Cops evacuated the office, deployed sniffer dogs and BDDS, and now are working to trace the sender’s IP address.
