ED Arrests Ex-CMO Officer In Chhattisgarh Liquor Scam

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Soumya Chaurasia, former Deputy Secretary in Chhattisgarh’s CMO, in connection with an alleged ₹2,500 crore liquor scam. She will be produced before a special court today. The case also involves Congress MLAs Kawasi Lakhma and Chaitanya Baghel, accused of handling nearly ₹1,000 crore from the scandal.
