Kerala Warns Against Blocking Electoral Roll Officers

Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U. Kelkar warned that obstructing booth-level officers during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls will invite strict criminal action. He said such incidents were reported in Malappuram, where BLOs were stopped from working. Kelkar reviewed Kerala’s SIR progress at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram.
