A 16-year-old girl, Mahi, died from suffocation due to a geyser gas leak while bathing at her Aligarh home on Friday. Her mother found the bathroom door locked and Mahi unresponsive. Despite past fainting episodes, the family had locked the door from outside for safety. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom led to the tragic incident. Mahi was declared dead at the hospital.
