Goa Land Grab Accused Escapes Custody With Constable’s Aid

Siddiquie Suleman Khan, a land-grabbing accused, escaped police custody in Goa with the help of IRB constable Amit Naik early Friday. Khan, arrested after four years on the run, fled the crime branch lock-up on Naik’s motorcycle. Police have sealed state borders and formed teams to capture them. Opposition parties demand action against the Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch) for the breach.
