Supreme Court Directs CBI Probe Into Karur Tragedy

The Supreme Court today has ordered a CBI probe into the Karur stampede that claimed 41 lives during TVK chief Vijay’s rally. A bench of Justices J.K. Maheshwari and N.V. Anjaria appointed former Supreme Court judge Ajay Rastogi to head a committee that will monitor the investigation, ensuring transparency and accountability in the probe.
