Transporters in Maharashtra have announced a statewide “chakka jam,” followed by an indefinite strike protesting e-challans and other challenges. After talks at the Maharashtra Transport Commissioner’s office failed, the M-TAC confirmed demonstrations at Azad Maidan in Mumbai and outside RTO offices across the state before the strike begins.
