A cloudburst struck Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district late Wednesday, triggering a landslide that buried six houses in Nandanagar Ghat’s Kuntri Langafali ward near the Alaknanda River. Seven people were inside, two were rescued alive, while five remain missing. District authorities confirmed relief and rescue operations are ongoing to locate survivors.
