The Telangana govt is on the verge of completing the Hyderabad Metro takeover by March 31, 2026. With DMRC acting as technical consultant and IDBI as legal advisor, detailed dues and study reports have been prepared. After cabinet approval on Feb 23, agreements between HMRL and L&T are expected to accelerate, paving the way for a smooth transition.
