8-Year Old Boy Looses Vision In One Eye After Battery Exploded

An 8-year-old boy lost vision in one eye after a pencil battery exploded. It was part of a robotics kit given by his school. Virendrakumar Thakor studies in Class 2 at Gayatri International School in Lalsar village in Gujarat’s Panchmahal. The school offered a robotics education kit. One of the batteries exploded in Thakor’s hands. He suffered injuries to his eye, arm and private parts.
