Jamaica Moves To Remove King Charles As Head Of State

Jamaica has introduced a bill to replace King Charles as head of state and move toward becoming a republic. Minister Marlene Malahoo Forte presented the legislation, aiming to establish a Jamaican president as the ceremonial head of state, with the PM as head of government. The country plans to transition by the 2025 general elections.
