UP Govt to Display Posters, Recover Damages From Sambhal Protesters

Uttar Pradesh government has announced that protesters involved in the Sambhal violence will be made to pay for damage to public property. Posters of “stone pelters” will be displayed in public places. The violence, which resulted in four deaths and multiple injuries, erupted over a court-ordered survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal.
