Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced a new Green Express Highway between Surat and Kurnool, reducing the Delhi-Chennai distance by 320 km. The project will also cut Delhi-Mumbai travel time to under 12 hours. Gadkari addressed Rajya Sabha queries on road development, highlighting plans to ease traffic congestion in Kolhapur.
