Illegal immigration from Canada to US has seen a sharp rise among people of Indian origin. As per data, the pipeline of illegal immigration from India has increased significantly. More than 14,000 Indians were arrested along the US-Canada border in last year – a staggering 10-fold rise in just two years. Indian origin people amounted to 60% of all arrests along Canada-US border.
