ED Conducts Searches On E-Commerce Vendors In FDI Violation Probe

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on 19 premises of “main vendors” on Amazon and Flipkart as part of an investigation into foreign direct investment (FDI) violations. The action covered locations in Delhi, Gurugram, Panchkula, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. ED officials inspected documents and took copies from about six vendors, though they were not named in the report.
