Pimp Sentenced To Life For Murder Inspired Ty TV Show

Cory Martin, a New York pimp, was sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of Brandy Odom, inspired by the TV show Dexter. After taking out $200,000 in life insurance on Odom, he strangled her in 2018 and dismembered her body using a power saw. Testimony revealed Martin’s extreme control over Odom and another woman, including physical abuse and forced nudity.
